Unlicensed and Off-Road Vehicles

Unlicensed vehicles are not permitted on our roads, which are so posted. Golf carts are fine if they are driven by licensed adults. Golf carts driven by children, 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, and other off-road vehicles are not.
Please do not permit your family members or guests to treat our roads like a dirt track and please know that the RMO will accept no liability in the event of an accident or injury.
Your family or guests may be ‘on vacation’ but the permanent residents in our community are not.
They are working – including on night shifts – and both their work and sleep are disrupted.
The board may need to consider special assessments for owners who allow the use of these off-road vehicles in order to discourage this and to compensate for the damage done to our roadbeds.
